I love my skin!

S: I think he wants to be distracted. J: I hope you’ll be very happy together. S: Sorry, what? J: There are lives at stake, Sherlock – actual human lives… Just so I know, do you care about that at all? S: Will caring about them help save them? J: Nope. S: Then I’ll continue not to make that mistake. J: And you find that easy, do you? S: Yes, very. Is that news to you? J: No… No. S: I’ve disappointed you. J: That’s good – that’s a good deduction, yeah. S: Don’t make people into heroes, John. Heroes don’t exist, and if they did, I wouldn’t be one of them.

I have a bit of an obsession with the 1950′s and all those actors from Montgomery Clift to James Dean and Anthony Perkins. Just that whole era of Tennessee Williams to Elia Kazan. The whole idea of New York and the whole thing becomes kind of romantic in your head.

"I think every woman at one point or another in their life has been called a bitch. For a long time I had a real problem with that word, I didn’t like it and I thought it was derogatory. But I’ve gotten to a place now where I’ve made a lot of peace with it. It’s been so overused and made to seem so derogatory towards woman that I’ve adapted it into an empowering feeling for myself. If I’m a bitch then I’m a bitch, if that’s what an assertive woman is to you. So I’ve sort of adapted it as a badge of honor."

You always stop at the same part, when it’s very beautiful.

"you can’t eat your problems"

♚ “The heroes will always be remembered. The best. The best and the worst. And a few who were a bit of both.”

Stephen Colbert on Late Night with Seth Meyers

TCR | 2007.03.12 | It reads: “Dear Stephen, As editor-in-chief of Marvel, I am burdened with the handling of our character’s estates and the sad event that a hero should perish before his time. Captain America’s will was read last Friday, and while heavy hearted, I am proud to announce the star spangled Avenger has bequeathed his most valuable possession, his indestructible shield, to the only man he believed had the red, white, and blue balls to carry the mantle. Stephen Colbert. Welcome to the Marvel Universe. Sincerely, Joe Quesada.
